Russell, Charles
Charles Russell is Associate Professor and Chair of the Rutgers-Newark English department and Associate Director of the Rutgers Institute on Ethnicity, Culture, and the Modern Experience at Rutgers University, Newark Campus. He received his AB degree from Wesleyan University, and the Ph.D. from Cornell University. Dr. Russell has served in a number of teaching and administrative positions, to include: Fullbright Lecturer at Universität Augsburg, Augsburg, Germany; Acting Chair of the Department of Education and Academic Foundations, Associate Provost for Academic Affairs, Assistant Provost for Research and Program Development, Associate Dean for Research and Development, and Director of Grants & Foundation Services at Rutgers-Newark.
