Tiger, Virginia Virginia Tiger, Professor and Chair of English at Rutgers University-Newark, is the author of four books, the most recent being The Unmoved Targert: The Fiction of William Golding. She has published scholarly articles in such journals as Contemporary Literature, Modern Fiction Studies, Doris Lessing Studies, Style and essays in numerous collections, including Ages of Anxiety: The Diaries of Jame Somers, Spiritual Explorations in the Works of Doris Lessing. ed. Phyllis Perrakis. Other professional experience includes reviewing for the British Broadcasting Corporation, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, CTV (Television, Toronto), New York Times Book Review, Toronto Daily Star and The Easthampton Star. She received her doctorate from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver Canada and her bachelors degree at the University of Toronto. |
